In all 4 years of school, we won four football games. 1 my freshman year losing streak sophomore and junior years, 3 wins senior year. Last year winning 3 games and never getting blown out in games where we did lose, was a blessing. But for three years, we'd get killed in football games, score like 74, 84,54 to 0. We never had touchdown cheers.

So of course now that I've graduated, my HS has decided to go on a 4 game winning streak, the first since 87, first time we had a 4 win season since 88. They've beaten three conference teams so they qualify to go to districts. Not to mention the construction on our new stadium.

I'm a little jealous because I never got that experience. But at least I avoided cheering into Thanksgiving. We used to joke that even though it sucked to lose, it was nice to not be out when it was getting cold.

When I was a freshman in high school our football team had the longest losing streak in the state. They broke it my sophomore year when they won 1 game

My junior year they some how made the playoffs and my senior year they some how made the playoffs and had a home game first round.

I don't remember much about the records but they weren't "winning" records..... They just won a couple of the right games

Anyway. My sister is 9 years younger than me.... By the time she was I high school they would have 9-1 regular season records and then go pretty far into the play offs (one year they lost at the qualifying game before state).

Basically we went to the same high school years apart....I don't know what it's like to cheer for a winning football team and she doesn't know what it's like to cheer for a losing football team.

We got lucky and finally started playing teams that weren't huge, and as a result we were one of the bigger fishes for football. In basketball, we are like a big deal. 2 state runs in a row, my jr. and senior years and the new division gave us little competition . The current juniors and seniors have no idea about the struggle that was our sports program.

My brother is three years older than me and played football. He won more games as a junior on JV than all three years he was on Varsity. He played for his own entertainment. He missed the glorious sports moments, but got the nationally (and controversial) televised Obama speech, and got to see him when he came back again. So he wins on that front.

Question, if a school in my area was doing illegal stunts who what should I do? The team is posting pictures of the stunts on Instagram. And one of the incoming freshman just got a double and I wouldn't put it past the coach to have her throw it at games. This program has a history of injuries (one of the girls posted a collage on Twitter of all the girls who had to get neck braces last season) and the coach is fairly young. Not really sure what to do...

Please say a quick prayer for my football team tonight! One of our players got a concussion and left the game early. Also, another one of our kids was dehydrated and vomiting. A third player got a BAD lower leg injury tonight that no one is sure of the extent of. I've heard dislocated knee and broken shin, and I've heard shattered ankle. My brother talked to one of the other players and he said that someone heard it snap and it sounded like a pencil breaking in half. I know two things at this moment. 1) they didn't even try to get him to stand. They called the ambulance to the field basically immediately at the end of the play and 2) when he was on the stretcher, his uninjured foot was standing on the heel (like it does normally) and the other was entirely on its side. It either looked pigeon toed or it turned all the way to the outside. I didn't get the best look at it. I was in freakout mode at that moment. I'm still adjusting to hearing the announcers say the names of kids I went to preschool with. It still shocks me when I read their names in the paper. The kid with the leg injury teases me for an obsession I had with Barney when I was 4!

Does anyone remember Discovery Zone? It was that HUGE place with all of the slides and tubes and ball pits and whatnot. We used to have one or something like it at the mall in Knoxville but it closed when I was like 5. I looooooooved it. I feel like if someone were to reopen one they would make a ton of money....

So um... rather interesting vine going around right now. I really hope this is a joke. I'm not on the 18+ board so I don't know if this has already been posted, so I'm just gonna leave this here (warning: language)

OMG yessss!!!! That was my favorite place when I was little. The one near me turned into a Chuck E. Cheese, not the same.

So what were people's thoughts on How To Get Away With Murder? Did anyone watch it? It wasn't amazing but I enjoyed it and decided I'll keep watching it :p

I think I liked the cast more than I thought. It was really awesome to see so many people I recognized! I was surprised to see the actor who plays Bennett in OITNB have a part in this show. And boy was I excited when I realized that the guy who plays Wes Gibbons in the show plays Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter movies!! My HP side started internally screaming.

Watched it and was slightly confused on what I think are dream sequences foretelling the future. Think I'll keep watching for a bit.

I liked it....but I was really tired on Thursday so I fell asleep before it was over so I need to find time to go back and watch it again.

A lot of what I did see reminded me of A dark Legally Blonde lol

And I wasn't to just go ahead and find out who is in the rug

It was a bit flashy and confusing but I don't think it was over the top confusing like a lot of other shows I've seen. But they certainly created more questions than answers.

Yes, it felt a lot like a dark Legally Blonde! You find out in the very last second of the episode who's in the rug. Good thing, cuz it would've driven me crazy if they had dragged that part on for another episode.

Okay. Good. I fell asleep right around the time Wes saw Annaliese with her husband

I was at work from 8-8 that day and was exhausted. I just wanted to get through Greys and Scandal.

How annoying is Meredith's sister

And why does the Grey/Thatcher and Shepard bloodline produce so many doctors.
