Santwon coreographed the Senior Limited Coed 5 team at KC, and he told me and a couple other girls that he had 7... So I think that is the most hahaa:) They may not all be from him personally winning but he has 7 in all!
What exactly does that mean? People gave him rings cause they didn't want them?

This thread is discussing who has won worlds the most times.

I think EVERYONE is wrong, James/Misty have TWICE as many rings as everyone else mentioned so far!! LOL (Everyone always forgets about the coaches Bahaha)

On top of the zillion rings they have from UofL/GT.. they both coached HS teams that won NCA nationals. The team James coached won 6 times.

(sorry I know this is a worlds ring thread.. but just wanted to point out how well-rounded their ring closet looks!)

Good point though, I'm pretty sure that James has more rings than anyone (high school titles (I'll say only NCA/UCA), College (again only NCA/UCA) and Worlds, yeah I think James has a few lol. Can anyone think of ANYONE else that could even come close?

If you are including NCA/UCA HS/College titles, do you include All-Star titles at NCA/UCA as well? If so, then there are lots of folks with VERY high "ring" totals.

Regardless, James & Misty have won a ton. There is no one with a more balanced set of titles from HS, College, & All Star then them, certainly.

Well I'm not sure about now, but back in the day high schools did rings too at NCA/UCA. This thread started about "World's" rings aka titles, I'm curious as to who out there has a bunch, if anyone has an idea I would think you @BlueCat would know.

You would need to define what exactly counts first. Also, I could tell you program-wise on the all-star side, but I don't know who was actively coaching specific teams. Does doing choreography for a team count? lots of grey area

Personally, I would only include NCA & possibly UCA allstar titles from before when worlds was established. Room for even more grey area haha.

Also, does any of your coaching staff at CA coach at Sachse HS? I noticed a lot of CA athletes cheered there. I was always curious..

I'd actually be really interested to see who has the most rings from choreography in a totally seperate "category" for sake of discussion, since they can jump from program to program from year to year.

Between NCA/UCA high school & college and Worlds, Tony Nash choreographed 17 winning routines.
From UCA high school/college, Saleem Habash has 13. (Anyone else know of other choreo he's done?)
I'd love to see some numbers from allstar choreographers!

are we including ICU in Worlds rings?
(I don't know many team USA members), but if it counts I'd say Bucky has the most?

I would be interested to see who's in the lead in each category-
1. NCA All-Star titles-A.Coach/Coaches B. Athlete C. Choreographer
2. UCA All-Star titles- A, B and C
3. NCA College A, B and C
4. UCA College A, B and C
5. NCA High and Middle School A, B and C
6. UCA High and Middle School A, B and C
7. Worlds A, B and C
8. ICU A, B and C
9. All of the above A, B and C

Was Saleem the coach the entire time during UK 8 year streak? I know he cheered at some point either before or during that time. If he was the coach the entire time I would give him 15 titles since Dunbar has 7 titles and he has been with them since their first win in 95. I know he won at UK atleast 5 years in a row because he is the only coached that has every won 5 straight titles with a high school and college program.

I read an article saying he was with UK from '96-'02, giving him 7 titles with them (anyone who knows him please verify to make sure I'm not making an error!). For some reason I thought Dunbar had 6 titles.. my bad! So since they won 7, he'd have 14 titles if my info about the time that he coached there is correct.

And woah... that's an impressive statistic. Are there even any HS teams that came close to Dunbar's streak?!

Bob Jones High won from 06-10 in three different divisions (medium 06, 07-09 super varsity, 10 large varsity). I dont think another all girl team has won that many straight in a single division.

I have a few questions and I appologize if they've already been covered... Did they give rings at the very FIRST Worlds competition (in 2004?) or did they start giving rings after the competition started getting bigger? And if they did start giving rings later, what year? And is there anyone on here with a ring from the very first time they gave rings?
Sorry, this probably makes me sound cheer uneducated, but I've been very curious.
And I know this doesn't have anything to do with who has the most rings, but it has to do with rings and I didn't feel the need to start a whole new thread about it.
