Confessions:
While chaperoning, I may or may not have spray tanned 3 girls at Worlds, one of them being my own daughter (if you've seen me, or my daughter, you know how cray-cray that is).
I may or may not have, in the past, sent a friend, who knew diddly about cheerleading, but still lives up north (I'm a NY Yankee), to the showcase of a hypothetical rival team. This could have happened...maybe. There may have been fictitious videoing involved.

WHAT?!!

If something happens at the gym that upset's me I tell Mr Tealy....."I'm having a fight with CSP right now. She doesn't know it. I'm sure it'll be all over by tomorrow" He gives me the side eye. I get the side eye a lot......not just for this.

Between spray tan and lip stick I wish I didn't have to wash CP's uniform every time she competes. Heck....I wish I didn't have to wash it out in the sink/bathtub on Saturday nights.

You mean the one's that you think are? ;) Hence why it's all over by tomorrow... :p

LOL...No, I totally understand what you are saying. Number 1 it's an acquired taste. Number 2 over the years as our uniforms have gotten more white in them some of us have been forced into this by the degree of our children's paleness. (No red's on top but my girls are casper-like) However, when the time comes and you cave, and you will, I have the perfect spray tan solution that isn't orange and I'll be happy to share the information!!! LOL Until then enjoy the days of not having to do it. ;)

*taps foot impatiently* - oh really?! Thanks for sharing :p jk.. (unless you can actually get it even on me and it doesn't come off when I sweat)

I've kind of become the unofficial video person for my CP's team and the other teams at our gym for a couple of seasons now, and I feel bad that there is one video of CP's team from last season that I will never be able to post on YouTube thanks to a near tumbling collision involving my kid and my colorful language.
no comment

good luck finding it though bc I have so many videos on my YouTube channel. :p

I will type it up and send it to you....it's involved and lengthy. LOL But after last season's trial and error I have it down to a science. And you've seen my baby. She doesn't look orange does she?

NOPE! And that's sounds awesome!! P.S. would you please text me your address? (xmas card time).

Okay cheer confession. As someone that used to work a makeup counter and also a serious case of OCD. I am totally grossed out by people sharing makeup. Was super happy when I heard the one mom who LIVES (and really does a great job) to do CP makeup say on her own (probably purposely in my ear shot) that she was buying individual disposable makeup brushes. I make my girls come with their makeup and hair fully done because I don't want to say no to sharing but the whole germ thing seriously ooghs me out. I did almost loose it on a mom when she tried to blush my kid after going down the line blushing all the kids - I literally blocked her from my CP (I admit that I am crazy this way though). I think it is great for the people who are into it but all I think the whole time is bacteria, germs, pink eye and lord knows what else. But I don't judge the people that do it - just don't make my kids join the germ pool and I am a happy camper.

pffft...no pixie stix in there? What's wrong w/you!!?! ;)

Fun fact, but Walmart and Target sores don't carry pixie sticks! I tried. Instead this involved me and a mom cheer friend in the aisles looking at nutrition facts to buy whatever had the most sugar.
"Four pieces... 10 grams. Not enough!" (Throw package to the side and pick up the next) "18 grams of sugar? In the cart !"

Party City. That's where I get ours. ;)

$ dollar tree has pixie stix...(funny im not a team mom this season) i still have bags of pixie stix..HA
Yep, Dollar Tree has them. Our Target does have them too, in the $1.00 section near the entrance to the store.

Our Mini team moms had a brilliant competition gift earlier this season. The decorated travel toothbrush cases with ribbon, bling, etc and filled those with Pixie Sticks! Genius!!
