I want a tattoo sooo bad! I have no idea what I want though. I'm thinking I want it on my hip because it can be hidden and its a very sensual place to have one. I don't want to be like one of those girls that gets meaningless quotes on their body. Like girls in my school that get stuff like "with faith comes hope" and "follow your dreams" when those mean absolutley nothing to them haha.

Amen! My aunt had a flower on her hip that was the size of half her hand and then she had two kids and know its way bigger than her hand haha! Plus it looks like a different flower!

Don't knock all quotes... some really might have a meaning that you don't know about. My sister's tattoo says "Everything happens for a reason" and most people would call it cheesy but to her it means a lot.

oh I know! Some people do have meaning, but the two that I quoted were two girls I've known all my life and they got them randomly. But by all means if it means something to them then get it.

if it's completely on your side, it will be fine.
if the tattoo is between your pelvic bones (ilium or ischium? now i can't remember.. whatever), it may stretch if you ever choose to have children, or it may not. my cousin has one there and it did not stretch with pregnancy, but they ended up having to cut through it for a C-section.
just something to consider.

of course. I don't plan on a tattoo (or a child) anytime soon! so I'm sure I'll change my mind a million times before I get one.

Has anyone had a nose piercing that closed up? My ring fell out at night, and closed up by the next morning. Anyone have experience with having to get it repierced?
