My CP, age 11, wants to get started in STUNT. She does All Star, but would like to do STUNT in addition. Is this even possible? Are there competitions for STUNT prior to high school? Where/how would one train for this. This would be in Northern California. Any input would much appreciated.
does anyone have one of those straps flyers use to help stretch body positions? I remember a girl on a team I was on used to make them and I was just wondering how long it was to see if I could do the same.
Based on Champion Cheer Central's scoring rubrics, does anyone know if all 4 of your stunt skills must be performed with just a group of 4, or do you only need a group of 4 for your 2 elite level stunts? I ask b/c we prefer 5 person stunt groups, but can back down to 4 person groups for our 2...
Does anyone know where some events are in Northern California? I’d like to see it in person and see what it’s about. We didn’t do it this year but it’s something I’d like to start at my school next year.
USA Cheer announced that STUNT had applied for emerging sport status. I thought that NCATA was doing the same for Acrobatics and Tumbling. Can someone explain the differences, legitimacy etc? There are more schools with STUNT but schools I am more familiar with such as Oregon and Baylor have...
Curious if this brand of cradle is legal at the HS level (2.21 mark). It’s inverted but never released, so I think it’s okay? It would just be SO COOL to show up at Nationals next year with a specialised cradle like that instead of a kick twist which seems to be the trend nowadays.

Here’s an example from the Great Whites routine at Worlds last year (at the :30 second mark):
Individually, all the parts of the stunt seem to be legal although I’m a bit confused on the legality of BHS stunts in high school. I read somewhere that a BHS up into a prep became legal this year...
hi!
I just reviewed our States score sheets and one of the elements for partner stunts is “inverted entry to extended position”
Can anyone help with this? I can’t seem to think of anything that would be legal for this type of trick. Last year we did a handstand to prep and that didn’t classify...

Hi Coaches! I need some tryout advice. (always thinking ahead ) We are looking to revamp our tryout procedures in order to include stunting but we are having trouble trying to figure out how to implement it. Does anyone assess stunting at tryouts? If so, how do you judge it? Thank you!

A little history to this thread....my daughter is 7 this is her 5 yr in all star cheer. She was on level 1 for 4 yrs and recently had try outs. I was expecting her to move to level 2 since she has her power 3, standing 3 and running 3 back handsprings in addition to level 1 tumblng skills...
Hi! I'm looking for any videos of teams that you guys have seen of teams that only have 2 stunt groups. One team I coach this year might only have 2 and I would love to watch some other teams with 2. Thanks! :)
There's been innovation every single year its amazing to see what people in this industry are coming up with!
What stunts do you think (or would like) we will see in the competition season this year?
levels 1 - 6
Hi, I am new to the boards so I'm not sure if I'm posting this question in the right place. I have a quick stunting question as I've had several people tell me different things.
If I want the flyer to be tossed from one stunt group to another (in like a show n' go) could I do this as long as...

Would the...
