Totally agree with you. It's okay to feel a little disappointed or bitter but publicly tweeting or discussing the athlete is NOT the right way to handle! This is a business and that athlete wanted to try another gym. There is nothing wrong with that. I am not the biggest fan of kids uprooting for cheer but all that matters is that it is working for that athlete and their family. Others have touched on this, but I also find it extremely hypocritical that a gym who publicly advertises housing options and scholarships is speaking out so much because one of their athletes opted to make a move to another gym?? Their behavior makes me thinks kids might be leaving for a reason. Most tweets I saw from athletes at gym have been very supportive. Also have seen some stating that kids only care about winning rather than loyalty which just made no sense considering the team in question has won more recently than TGLC. A lot of the kids have already won Worlds. More about the experience for most!
