Okay good I am glad all 9 are doing it now. Haha I think that faked tick tocks are just really awkward to watch. Also since you have the most SS info, what exactly is the 2nd stunt that stars does. Are they ball up stretches or switch ups or something else? I can never tell because I haven't seen them in person this year.
I call them straight leg switch ups... But they are starting with both feet loaded in, unlike a switch up where one of them is normally on the ground. So lets call them "switch kick ball ups" ?

How many of them do the ball-ups? All eight? I honestly don't think they'll risk the ball ups at Worlds, but again, just my opinion.

Anyway, as ya'll know, I'm all for Sr Elite, and I still believe that if all three hit....Sr Elite will take it.

But hey.......I'm just a fan, so what do I know!

I believe 6 did the ball-up to stretch, with the other 2 going straight up. I can't see them putting ball-ups in for Atlantis and then taking them out when they really need them. If they take them out, I see that being a warm-up decision.

Not taking anything away from your fandom...nor am I judging you on it. We all have our favorites that we prefer to win. I personally wouldn't call any of the stunt variations the Big 3 do as basic though. Straight up is basic. Maxing out is maxing out. Like I said previously, it doesn't matter how you get there, as long as you get there.

@StarshipTrooper where's dinner?

Tosses - While F5 does 8 of them and leads the pack with numbers, Stars give you 7 that are broken into 2 groups so you can see the amazing switch kicks. In addition, F5 also does 2 pikes and a toe touch. Stars also have a different level 5 basket in their opening with 2 hitch kick (no twist) baskets on either side. CEA has the switch kick and kick doubles in their sequence with 3 kick doubles in the opening of the routine and 2 pikes during tumbling. I'm gonna say Stars lead the pack in terms of variety with the standard level 5 basket, an elite 4 trick level 5 basket, and 2 level 4 baskets opposed to the standard level 5 baskets and level 3 baskets of the other 2.

I think its more impressive that CEA's baskets are all synchronized. Stars might be rippled to show the skills but it also hides timing issues. In my opinion CEA takes the tosses section with gorgeous sky high all together switch kick doubles.

It's kind of like what Brandon did last year, right?

Teal Army Headquaters intercepted secret messages from an agent for our nothern adversaries know as Rich. We immediately instructed all teams to meet this week in the new northern outpost of Richmond and drive the SUVs quickly down the Shenandoah to Appomattox, as clearly all is lost and the white flag of surrender must be hoisted. However, our fearless leaders, the Popes, have proclaimed that all is not lost in a Pattonesque display of motivation, 2 seconds were trimmed, and the hopelessly simple and sloppy routine could indeed be resurected in this season of hope to give our beloved team a small chance at success.

See you in Orlando. Pick the team and I'll take SE for a nice dinner of choice, even if we tear every ACL on the squad.:)

You make my life complete...looks like its time to amp up the texts from above..

I'm much more visual when it comes to stunting. F5 may score with those stunts, but they are pretty basic and safe for one of these top teams.....imo. I truly believe that if any of the teams not included in these "Big three" did those stunts, it would not be considered so impressive by all of us experts.

I'm confused.....

1st stunt - CEA does 2 low to high tick tocks and full up immediates (doing 2 of something doesnt make it more elite then something else). Stars do high to highs and full up immediates. F5 has a mix of high to high and low to high (which adds to the choreography of the stunt section) and also does full up immediates.
So if you say F5 is basic, then youre saying the others are basic as well.

2nd stunt - CEA does a 360 ball up low to high tick tock with 2 tick tocks on the side and 6 straight up stunts. Stars do 7 release moves that are somewhere between a ball up and a switch up. And F5 does anywhere from 5-8 ball ups.
So even if F5 does only 5 ball ups here, they still have more groups doing elite skills over CEA. So I don't see how that is basic.

I also think CEA takes the pyramid section with tons of 2 1/2 high flips and it is non stop with no dead spots. F5 has the next best pyramid IMO but its a bit slow.

Can we give this a name? Stars-up or something fun?
Well i call the release move they do "the shooting star" they have done it several other times and i love it for them.

And the stunt youre talking about has been done by someone else before, but i'm game for giving it stars' name.

I also think the basket in the opening should be named for them
So we have the shooting star release to balk walkover
the Star-up (although saying that, i would think they star then bring their legs together and catch at the top)
and the shooting star basket
