I think Nastia tried to come back. Unfortunately, she had a rough time & wasn't choosen for the team.

Alicia too. Both her and Nastia were at Olympic qualifiers but were not at the same level they were in 2008 and were not selected for the team.

I'd LOVE to see Sarah, Kyla, & Katelyn Ohashi in Rio. Not really a fan of Price....yet. I think I could be, but just not there yet. If (and this is a big 'if') Maroney and Gabby stay healthy and choose to come back, I wouldn't be upset to see them on the team either. I think Aly will be to old, but ya never know. Jordyn I could see attempting to come back too, but she's also 'getting up there' and a lot could change four years from now.

Anyways, I'm so excited to see them in event finals! Maroney can, and should take vault pretty easily; Aly can take floor and, if she does her typical Aly routine I think she can medal on beam. I hope Jordyn does a good floor routine, but I haven't paid too much attention to her scores in relation to others as to her medaling chances. And for bars I think it'll be Beth, Komova, and Kexin.... Gabby's good, but she's certainly not up to par with those three.

And side note, I'm SO excited track has finally started!!!

Seriously hoping for Viktoria Komova to come back for 2016.
Same for Wieber, Mustafina, Ross and Maroney - but especially for Komova.

Either way, I think Aly will want to try to come back and win the AA finals but I can't be too sure. I just don't want this generation of girls to die out like the last ones did. It was pretty sad seeing Shawn, Nastia and Alicia make the decision to not continue.
Alicia was also at U.S. trials, but was not chosen. She was an event specialist on events where there were All Around girls with just as strong scores overall.
