OMG. best. thread. EVER. 8. You will NOT tell you cp they must get X skill because Susie got it and they MUST be better then them.
9.You will NOT allow cp to skip practices, unless there are family emergencies or hospital bound sickness/injures...and yes, you will bring in that doctor's note!
I so want to join this club. Can I add an addition to this rule? 8. You will NOT tell you cp they must get X skill because Susie got it and they MUST be better then them. Nor will you take their cell phone away or otherwise punish them if they don't get X skill in the timeframe you have decided they should get it in.
9. You will also not bribe your cp with a new cell phone, or other electronic/digital device, for getting X skill.
This one cracks me up! See it all the time. Would never do this myself. I figure that if she isn't dedicated enough to cheer to not be bribed then it is going to be a long road for her in the future.
10. I will not let cp join extra curricular activities that will interfere with practice on a regular basis then expect all the other athletes and parents to be understanding. Life happens and special occasions come up...but come on people. It is hard to have any kind of team if they don't have good practices with good attendance. We put to much time and money into the sport to take it so lightly. Go do rec if you want Suzie to be in every activity her heart desires. SOmetimes making a choice is a good thing.
Well, I certainly hope you felt welcome! Since you were sitting with meeeeee! (I'm not sure what this little guy means, but I like him)
11. If we decide to leave our gym, it will not be because cp did not make his/her team of choice. I will not un-friend friends from my previous gym on facebook, nor will I un-friend someone else who leaves the gym. Unless proof is given that they talked smack about me and/or my cp prior to and/or immediately following departure, then this rule is null and void.
Dads are more than welcome! We are an all inclusive club! The name of the club is "Not A Cheer Mom Club." Since you're not a cheer mom, you'll fit right in!
