At the GWCC, there will be our competition, a hair convention, and a Monster truck show at the dome. New to Cheersport and/or Atlanta? Traffic is hateful. Marta is extremely busy. Allow extra time on whatever amount of extra time you have already planned. Bring comfy shoes, because you will be doing a lot of walking. Bring your patience, because it will be extremely crowded. Bring your sportsmanship, because every single team has worked hard out there. Be prepared to have fun, because I have never seen so many kids so excited to show you what they can do out on that stage.

These three things are the best three CHEERSPORT tips ever. Seriously. Patience perhaps being the most important. It's an amazing event and a site to behold.

If its your first trip there, get your camera out when you go down the escalators for the first time. It's a magical experience to descend into cheer world!

Be afraid- parking is TERRIBLE! And don't wear heels- you'll be walking a lot!

This may sound silly but how far apart is each arena?
I would like to watch orange at 12:44 in B3 and make it over to B2 for the start of large senior by 1:04. Is that humanly possible to do?

Get there early for Orange. Our first trip to CHEERSPORT three years ago when Senior Elite cane out it was insanity. People had run into the arena, standing room only and EVERYONE (including us) were standing on chairs watching. The entire arena did it.

If you haven't been before, CHEERSPORT is prepared for such things, their judges tables are twice as high as standard and there's no priority "seating" you stand up, can jump around, etc etc cause they can see over you they're so high. It's my favorite part because let's face it, if your team hit at CHEERSPORT you wouldn't be able to stay seated anyway.

And although they have the no video disclaimer....everyone videos from priority seating and its never been an issue.

ugh...orange goes on at 12:44 and TG goes on at 12:48 the last time I checked....kinda hope this miraculously gets changed. However I will not miss Topgun, last time I watched them at cheersport 2010 I shared a chair with four other girls from random gyms...and thats 4 random girls standing on 1 chair. We were like hugging each other holding on to see them...yea it was that crazy.

I'll only be there Saturday due to work and school. Like I said though, I won't miss Topgun. I saw them first at cheersport when I was little and was in aw. I have been a fan ever since.

Girl I shared a chair with levon, 2 other sharks coaches i'd never seen before and my mom... Im pretty sure Levon punched me in the face.... hahahaha.

A lot....First mat is stretch (almost everyone stunts), stunt mat, tumble strip, full size dead floor, water break, full size spring. Everything except water break and spring are 8 minutes I think.

Haha yeah warmups are SOOOO LONG!!!! Plenty of time to warm up! What sucks is waiting afterwards to compete!! There is a dead mat for any extra things right before you go on if needed for stretching though. Beware too, Cheersport is cold!
