LAG scores?
Even with the mistakes they had Orange's raw score is pretty high...

Wait what. Wasn't Senior Elite deducted 2 points on day 1?

I noticed that too. I'm wondering if CSP challenged the legality and in reviewing the video they found another legality or decided they actually should have been deducted 4 points for some reason? That's the only explanation I can think of

im guessing CSP ate her words so to speak, to do all that complaining and then to win its gotta be a foot in the mouth kind of moment.
As it's been pointed out - it wasn't posted on a public site, but I doubt CSP would have deleted it just because SE won. The score sheet issues have been a problem all year - she isn't the only one complaining about it, and every single gym owner should be concerned with the process whether they are hitting the score sheet or not. You can't expect judges to become knowledgeable with a score sheet that changes every two years. It isn't fair to the coaches or the athletes when there is no consistency, and this year has been about the worst year I have seen in a long time. Add to that the teams compete all year on one score sheet and then have a different score sheet for Worlds and the process just makes zero sense to me. If I was a gym owner I'd be discussing it as well.

Yeah I'm wondering if there's an exception made since, at least in Ontario, I believe there are only 2 bid events during the entirety of the season.
Canada has their own rules with the bid process. In the US, at larges haven't been able to be passed down (outside the 72 hour window) in quite a few years.

Correct. In Canada we only have at large and partial paid bids currently. As such, at large can trickle down.
It's always a possibility that would change if we started getting full paids up here.

The legality issue w SE, was it because the Piggy went to high? So it got counted as a toss?
And also, Brandon Senior Pink & Top Gun 005 got paid I'm so happy, you guys don't even understand. I can see 005 in the top three this year at worlds (as every other year, sorry still salty about 2014 & 2013). Also.... Did the scoring seem a little weird to any of you guys? As in Raw scores for certain divisions.

It's more height + weight-bearing = illegal. If you are clearly bearing the top girl's weight beyond 2(?) people high, it becomes a level 6 element. The reason similar things have been legally done in pyramids is that weight-bearing clause. If it's a quick hop from one bracer to the other to your own stunt group you weren't up there long enough for anyone to solely be holding you. They started from the ground, essentially, with her already in the piggy back and all of her weight on top of the middle layer and that stunt group. Add that to the possibility that she may have gone over 2 people high and it's most definitely illegal.

I know CSP knows her rulebook and plays well in gray areas, like many other great coaches/choreographers, so I'm guessing she was banking on it staying below two people high? Otherwise I don't see how that got passed her and into the routine. But then if that's the case I agree that she should have gotten a warning day 1 and not an automatic deduction...

Understandable, that makes perfect sense actually lol, my thing was, I know it can be "two high" as long as its continuous, IE, how Cali coed does their 2-2-1 in their pyramid, so I would've thought that was her reasoning for adding the full around with it, but I thought that maybe it was considered too high of a dismount, so it was considered a toss. But thanks!
