Not sure. I spent $70 on the hair and $125 to get her to make the pony. I "think" posh is more expensive, but not 100% sure.

I found posh to be much more expensive when I was looking. Because CP was a difficult color match I had to spend $70 on hair. If your CP has black, very dark brown, or light blonde hair you can get it from a beauty supply for less. Having her make it from your hair is $150 on the website, but many of her models have 10% discount codes they can share. I ended up spending right at $200. The Posh Pony was going to run me about $300 for the 14 inch length when all was said and done. It is listed at $275 on her website right now, but the color options are limited and there is no info about shipping costs. I had a hard time getting a response from Posh about color matching. They never answered my email.

I am really impressed with the quality of what I got, how helpful she was, and the turnaround time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Ok, so now I'm curious about these wiglets (I seriously can't believe the industry has started turning back to these). Are they real hair? Are you able to style them as you would your cp's natural hair?

I know Pinups will only do human hair and you are supposed to be able to style it just like your own hair. It's totally different than the synthetic ringlet wigs of days past.

Cp's hair gets so damaged from teasing BUT I can't see me spending $200 on a hair piece [emoji26]

I may be selling mine at the end of this season after summit. CP doesn't want to cheer next year. I'd definitely give someone a deal if you are interested! You can also dye the hair to match if it isn't quite the right color.

Yes, it is real hair. It comes pre-teased and you can curl it, then straighten it, whatever. One mom on our team even did highlights on hers! We got the pinup pony and it is very well made. I think we are going to wash ours over the summer & re-tease. It is sort of like playing with one of those big Barbie heads that I loved when I was little!

My friend makes them and doesn't charge that much and she supplies the hair.

She doesn't really do special orders because she likes a certain kind of hair and she says she can't always get the good hair in the perfect color! So she makes and you just buy for that, so you don't buy your own hair first!

She made one for my daughter but we haven't used it yet. I'll post a pic when we do!

$70 for the whole thing?

Yes!

Eta: I think she used synthetic hair, so it won't hold a lot of curls well! But it will stay perfect like this.

I prefer this hair for my kid especially, because synthetic has a dryer look to it. It doesn't take her long to make them. So it leads me to believe some of these include amazing hair which is great but they are making a lot off of the what it cost them in "time" to make.

That's a bargain! Are they human hair or synthetic? I spent $70 on just the hair to match CP's. There was no cheaper alternative! Basically what I found is that if you didn't want 1, 1B, 4, some variation on brown lightened to red/orange, or platinum then you weren't going to find it at the hair store. You had to go to Sally's. If you fit into what the hair store had good quality hair started around $35 for 12 inches.
